What a result – Rotherham won to nil, Le Fondre scored – Hope you were on. The saddlebags are loaded up and now it is time to get brave and reinvest – do not think about going near that withdraw button….
Derby advice – I did promise a full run down on the Derby and Oaks but at this stage I shall just offer up Jan Vermeer at 20/1 which I think may be a far better shout than many others and surely the 7/4 about St Nick is wrong.
Champions league final and everyone is all over Inter with the 13/10 aboutin places being offered as the best value in ages. I dont disagree that Inter are the likelier winners but Munich are coming to hand at the right time and it is easy to overlook that they are also chasing the German treble as well as being champions league top scorers. The 12/5 about them is dismissive and incorrect. I would take that but feel there is an outstanding bet available which I almost want to nap at 7s! 0-0 at full time is unbelievable with Laddies!! Riberys replacement Altnisop is more defensive and Jose has a habit of being defensive in the big games. 7-1 about no goals in ninety minutes is an absurd offer – Stick it in your lucky 15 with confidence! Laddies also have it wrong about Robben man of the match – 7/1 lovely.
The one to stick your house on today is South Africa to beat the Windies in the ODI. OK it is 8/15 which reflects the 2-0 20/20 result and I would fully support SA to go on to win the first ODI. Lucky 15.
Toulouse should be way too hot for Biarritz and I fancy the -6 handicap with Stan James at evens as a terrific bet. Lucky 15.
My nap is in the championship playoff final where I fancy goals after a cagey start. This makes a very appealing evens price about the first goal being scored after 25 minutes (Paddy Power) a no brainer for me – This is the nap, only two have failed in the last 15 and evens is the lowest I go to so have a big one!
On track…. 2.40 Curragh – I love the look of this race and fancy Moment of Weakness to outperform 5/1 as the market headers are there on home reputation where MOW has done it on track already. Watch out for foolproof in this at 33/1 – that is a wrong price.
2.45 Goodwood – Three I cannot make my mind up on are Final Victory 6/1, Brunston 5/1 (will love conditions) and Record Breaker (overpriced at 20/1).
3.20 This is the nap on track – King of Dixie 5/1 – Should run well.
Irish 2,000 guineas day and I am not excited about Steinbeck or Canford the two at the head of affairs. Fencing Master is a better proposition but I would prefer Viscount at 33/1 (could be an incredible double for Smullen with Foolproof!) or Noll Wallop 20/1 (could be anything) but for a proper bet I would have Keredari – Oxx could complete his classic ticklist if this one goes in.
Good luck wherever your gambling mind takes you. Just don’t come crying to me after the final whistle tonight if you did not avail Laddies of their 7s about 0-0……… happy summer days
